{"id":651,"date":"2025-04-08T17:20:37","date_gmt":"2025-04-08T17:20:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oceanrabble.org\/?page_id=651"},"modified":"2026-08-27T11:35:12","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T09:35:12","slug":"mission-vision","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/oceanrabble.org\/?page_id=651","title":{"rendered":"Mission"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Our Mission is to<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>build <a href=\"https:\/\/oceanrabble.org\/?page_id=320\"><strong>Zo\u00e9<\/strong><\/a> and lay the foundation for the <a href=\"https:\/\/oceanrabble.org\/?page_id=342\"><strong>OceanRabble International Marine Conservation Fleet<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/oceanrabble.org\/?page_id=1073\"><strong>Circumnavigate the Earth<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and implement our <a href=\"https:\/\/oceanrabble.org\/?page_id=1036\"><strong>Marine Conservation Projects<\/strong><\/a>, including\n<ul>\n<li>make as many people as possible <strong>Aware<\/strong> of the threats to our oceans and encourage them to take active measures to protect them<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cleanwreck.org\/\">Cleanwreck.org<\/a><\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>search and identification<\/strong> of potentially dangerous shipwrecks<\/li>\n<li>determination of <strong>owners<\/strong> (legal successors) and <strong>liable parties<\/strong> (flag state, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>taking <strong>legal action<\/strong> to recover <strong>decontamination<\/strong> and <strong>disposal costs<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>recover and ideally recycle <strong>ghost nets<\/strong> and everything else that does not belong in the sea, especially at depths of up to 150 metres.<\/li>\n<li>organise and support <strong>coastal clean-ups<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>combat illegal fishing<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>support<\/strong> other environmental organisations and individual activists<\/li>\n<li><strong>transport<\/strong> people and goods in an environmentally friendly way<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>find the most promising location for our <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/oceanrabble.org\/?page_id=920\">OceanRabble Marine Conservation Campus<\/a><\/strong> with the greatest potential for achieving our vision and create there our\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/oceanrabble.org\/?page_id=308\"><b>Shipyard<\/b><\/a> \u2013 where we will build many seaworthy, sustainable, robust and emission-free Research Sailing Ships and thus continuously expand and strengthen the fleet<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/oceanrabble.org\/?page_id=324\"><b>Marine Conservationists Camp<\/b><\/a> &#8211; for the people who support us in our projects<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/oceanrabble.org\/?page_id=408\"><b>Training <\/b><b>C<\/b><b>entre <\/b><\/a>&#8211; to train our ship crews and shipyard staff<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/oceanrabble.org\/?page_id=1681\"><b>Diving <\/b><b>B<\/b><b>ase <\/b><\/a>&#8211;
